Volunteers are the back-bone of the Society and their participation is important to the success of our program. Volunteers work diligently to provide our Clients with high quality service including: Lifeline installations, service calls, maintenance calls and the promotion of our Lifeline services. It is the dedication and commitment of our Volunteers that makes it possible for our Society to offer Lifeline services at a reasonable price.

How A Volunteer Sees It.As a Volunteer, I install a Lifeline Unit that can help save lives in an emergency and add peace of mind to our Clients, their family and friends.
The Lifeline Unit enables a Client to signal for help in an emergency when at home or on the go, by pushing a button that they wear all the time. Some buttons automatically detect hard falls and place a call if the Client does not get up in 30 seconds. Volunteers install Lifeline units for new Clients, complete the required forms and show clients how the Lifeline works. Volunteers also answer questions from the Client, their relatives and friends. An install usually takes 30 minutes to one hour. Valley Alert Lifeline staff phone Volunteers to set up appointments. Volunteers accept or decline an install depending on their schedule. Phone:
